Yoga for Calming Down

Anxiety is something I know all too well, but yoga has been one of the keys to helping me deal with nervous energy. Instead of wanting to jump out of my own body, yoga has helped me be with the uncomfortable feelings and move past them. In this shorter practice we will anchor our minds through our breath, flow through some gentle stretches, and settle into calming poses to help trigger the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest). Special appearance by my little fluffster, Penny.
